The pictures in this folder were taken in June of 2008. Almost three years after Hurricane Katrina destroyed this area it still looks like this.

Only 11% has been rebuilt to date and we need volunteers to come to this area and help the people that want to return be able to do so. It's hard to believe, even after you see it with your own eyes, that it still looks like this.
